And a Little Bit of Chicken Fried, by Maggie

Hey Slimmies,

So, today officially marked the first day of my life’s transformation. Time to get my fat rear into gear, lost this weight and become a healthier, happier me!

What’s changed? Well, today was the first day that I was pescetarian. What the f*ck is pescetarianism, you ask? Well, it’s commonly referred to as vegetarianism but you eat fish and animal bi-products. So far, so good!

For breakfast, I had two Source Exotik yogurts. So sweet and delicious and only 35 calories per container – yums! For lunch, I had – don’t laugh! – a Gerber baby food macaroni and cheese with peas and carrots Lil’ Entrée.

After work, Becks and I ventured to Toronto for the Zac Brown Band concert. The traffic in the city was THE WORST. Not only was the concert happening but also so was the CNE and the Blue Jays had a game too! It was a serious disaster and after travelling only 1.5 kilometers in 90 minutes and being unable to find a parking spot, we ditched the concert and decided on some retail therapy instead.  Plus, Becky’s bladder was about to explode all over my car so we didn’t exactly have time to drive around Toronto finding parking for Zac Brown. Sorry, bro.

At the mall, I bought the cutest pair of pink studded loafers at Forever 21. Picture to come, I promise! After that, we did some shopping at La Senza. Both of us got our breasts measure (38D) and bought some push-up bras. These puppies don’t stay afloat themselves, you know?

After emptying our wallets at the Eaton Centre, we went to Duke of Richmond, a little English pub for some dinner. We both got the half order of fish and chips. We’re still learning how to make pescetarian choices at restaurants. Even though it was deep fried, I think we had enough calories to consumer what we did.

Day one was successful and I am certain that we are only going to get better, fitter, more determined and more committed tomorrow and the days to come!

Stay tuned, slimmies!
xo Maggie
